Karachi—People faced problems when
transporters stopped plying their vehicles
beyond Karachi University following ongoing
strife between two groups on land dispute. The
dispute has, only recently, claimed the life of
local President Sindh Taraqqi Pasan Party (STPP)
and injuries to over a dozen in the jurisdiction
of Sachal Police Station during the last few
days.
Karachi—All
basic facilities are being made available to
some 10,000 schools in the interior of the
province. This was stated by Sindh Minister for
Education and Literacy, Pir Mazhar- ul- Haq. He
pointed out here on Tuesday that these 10,000
schools in the interior were without basic
facilities.
Karachi—Experts warned against typhoid, a
disease which globally affects 21 million people
causing 600,000 deaths amongst children
annually. Experts stressed the need to create
mass awareness of precautionary and preventive
measures to prevent Typhoid to toll heavily on
public and private pockets.

upgraded with the most modern teaching and
training facilites while First batch of B.Sc
Nursing students attended classes at North
Nazimabad Campus to mark the beginning of the
session.
Karachi—A quiz competition was held at
SUPARCO Headquarters here on Tuesday in
connection with the World Space Week
celebrations. More than 100 students from
various private and government schools of
Karachi participated in the competition.
