Vehicles off road amidst clashes

Karachi—People faced problems when transporters stopped plying their vehicles beyond Karachi University following ongoing strife between two groups on land dispute. The dispute has, only recently, claimed the life of local President Sindh Taraqqi Pasan Party (STPP) and injuries to over a dozen in the jurisdiction of Sachal Police Station during the last few days.

Basic facilities for 10,000 schools assured

Karachi—All basic facilities are being made available to some 10,000 schools in the interior of the province. This was stated by Sindh Minister for Education and Literacy, Pir Mazhar- ul- Haq. He pointed out here on Tuesday that these 10,000 schools in the interior were without basic facilities.
