World Bank, Wapda, NHA discuss land acquisition

Islamabad—The World Bank in collaboration with the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) and the National Highways Authority (NHA) held a day long consultation session on Social and Resettlement Policies and Practices in Pakistan, to kick off a discussion on social issues related to public sector investment projects including land acquisition, social and resettlement policies, and implementation problems.
