Lahore—Chairman Chief Minister’s Taskforce and MNA, Hamza Shahbaz has said that latest treatment facilities are being made available in all small hospitals of the province at a cost of Rs.30 crore.

Promotions on merit in police ensured: CCPO

Lahore—Capital City Police Officer (CCPO), Muhammad Pervez Rathore has said that policy of merit has unequivocally been adopted to ensure promotion of police officials in Lahore Police. He said that a well coordinated strategy for promotions, based on merit, has been chalked out in order to ensure that no one is bereft of his legitimate right. CCPO said that all possibility of interference from outside the department, with regard to promotions in Lahore police, have been foreclosed and promotions have now been directly linked with day and night efficiency of the concerned police official, his commitment with the job, his seniority and time-honoured principle of merit.
