Kabul—Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani has said that the US drone attacks would not be allowed in Balochistan. According to sources, COAS said this in Tripartite Commission meeting in Kabul on Tuesday.

China offers to mediate on Kashmir
Wishes progress to Pak, India peace process


Beijing—China has asked India and Pakistan to seek a solution to the Kashmir issue through peaceful and friendly consultations and offered to play a “constructive role” in resolving the issue. Calls for early Kashmir solution


United Nations—A ministerial-level panel of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) on Monday adopted a declaration expressing regret that India had put a “pause” on the dialogue with Pakistan as it called for an early resolution of the Kashmir dispute.
