Lahore/Rawalpindi—The Punjab Government has filed a petition in Lahore High Court (LHC) to stop bye-polls in NA-55 and NA-123 on the basis of security reasons while LHC returned petition to halt bye-election in NA-123 with objection.

KESC to cut supply to defaulters

Karachi—KWSB failed to clear dues of Rs8.2 billion to KESC despite various notices. KESC will start curtailing KWSB’s power supply for 4 to 6 hours from Sept. 28 (Monday) night. Citizens of Karachi were requested by the utility to be prepared for this curtailment and KWSB was asked to make alternative arrangements.
