PSO’s receivables surge to Rs 97.6b

Karachi—The receivables of Pakistan State Oil (PSO) against, IPPs, GENCOs and other organisations have mounted to Rs 96.7 billion as on September 11, 2009 while it has to pay about Rs 58 billion to refineries and overseas oil suppliers. Dollar partly recoups

New York—The dollar recovered some of its losses but ended mixed Friday after data showing improvement in US consumer sentiment helped the greenback move up from a nine-month low on the euro.
