Measures taken in rural areas against dengue fever

Stapling, Punching can’t harm CNICs: NADRA

Islamabad—The mere stapling and punching do not invalidate the Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs) as out of 22 features the harming of one or two features do not make a difference, Deputy Chairman National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) Tariq Malik said. Slight change in layout plan protects about 200 pine trees

Islamabad—The contractor as well as the environmentalists of Capital Development Authority has managed to protect about 200 pine trees falling in the Zero Point Interchange project area just bringing a slight change in the layout plan. "We have just shrunk a shoulder at Faisal Avenue in front of Zarai Taraqiati Bank to protect about 200 pine trees, each aged about 40,” said an official closely linked to the project.
