meets Shahbaz
US traders urged to invest in power projects

Lahore—Members executive body of American
Business Forum (ABF) led by its president Rizwan
Ullah Khan met Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad
Shahbaz Sharif at Chief Minister’s Secretariat,
here Friday and informed him about economic and
trade activities of the forum in Punjab as well
as investment in various projects. Measures
taken for promotion of foreign investment were
also discussed on this occasion. Talking to the
members of the forum, the Chief Minister said
that Punjab government is working on various

Neelam Jabbar has said that government is giving
top priority to modern healthcare facilities for
people from all segments of society. Family
physicians are the backbone of our healthcare
delivery system as majority of people benefit

Allegations

Lahore—The Medical Superintendent Mayo Hospital,
Dr. Zahid Pervez has termed the allegations
leveled on the hospital administration in
connection with the removal of Edhi Centre as
baseless and said that more elaborate space has
been given for this camp and ambulances. While
clarifying the situation, Dr. Zahid Pervez said
that Mayo hospital administration intended to
install a Water Filtration Plant for the general
masses and the public at large for which
requests were repreatedly made to the stationed

Prisoners observe
‘Aitakaf’ in jails
Lahore—The intending Muslim convicts and
under trial prisoners will observe “Aitakaf” in
their respective barracks of the jail. The
Inspector General of Prisons Punjab, Kokab
Nadeem Warriach told APP here Friday that all
the 56909 Muslim prisoners except admitted to
hospital are observing fast and offer regular
Taraveeh at their barracks in 32 jails acoss the
province. The Prisons Department, on the special
directive of the Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad
Shahbaz Sharif, has made elaborate arrangements

Lahore High Court (LHC) Friday constituted 7
Division Benches (DBs) and 14 Single Benches (SBs)
to hear the cases at the Principal Seat in the
