Heroin smuggling case
SC directs ANF to arrest actual culprits

Islamabad—The Supreme Court on Friday directed DG Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) to initiate an inquiry into heroin smuggling case and arrest the genuine accused (big fish) of the case. A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and comprising Justice Ghulam Rabbani and Justice Jawwad S Khwaja ordered this while hearing a bail appeal of accused Mohammad Anis in a heroin smuggling case. Drive to ensure quality food

Islamabad—Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Amer Ali Ahmed has ordered Assistant Director Food Islamabad Muhammad Afzal to carry out the sampling of food items on daily basis in order to ensure the quality of food items.
