(2003-2012) the world is celebrating Literacy
Day and so is Pakistan. Literacy is just the
ability to read, write, listen, comprehend and
speak a language, yet millions are deprived of
this fundamental human right. UNESCO reminds the
world of the status of literacy and adult
learning globally, but we have to make firm

directed that special care be taken of sanitary
conditions around busy areas, worship places,
