First ever fruits
processing plant goes into test run Staff

Lahore—The first ever fruits processing plant
installed by the Small and Medium Enterprises
Development Authority (SMEDA) under Agro-Food
Processing Facilities (AFP) program completed a
successful test operation at Multan. SMEDA,Chief

Import of sugar
can stabilize price: ICCI SHR Jahfery
Islamabad—Mian Shaukat Masud, President,
Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI)
in a statement here Monday said that Government
should encourage the import of raw sugar and ask
millers to convert it into white sugar for
providing it to people at affordable prices. He
