Kazmi vows not to bow before terrorists
Ministers to have bullet proof vehicles

Islamabad—Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Hamid Saeed Kazmi has vowed not to bow before the terrorists urging that he would not change his stance against terrorism.

While talking to News man, Hamid Saeed Kazmi said that he has no enmity with anyone.

Hamid Saeed Kazmi said that he has been demanding security since he has taken the charge of his office, but government did not have enough resources to provide security.

Federal Minister said that he had requested the government to shift his office to Cabinet division but everyone knows that red tapism takes its time. He also expressed his total dissatisfaction over the security in his office.

Meanwhile, more than 50 suspected persons have been arrested for investigation in connection with life out put on Hamid Saeed Kazmi.

Federal Minster for Religious Affairs said he laid straight on the back seat of the car when the assailants opened fire at his car. He said he tried to use his mobile phone but failed to do so. The driver tried to speed up to avoid attack but the car hit a tree, Kazmi said lying on the hospital bed.

Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that investigation into the attack on Religious affairs Minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi is under way and its findings will be duly shared with the public.

Talking to media men here on Thursday after visiting Policlinic hospital to inquire about the health of the Religious Affairs Minister, he termed Wednesday’s incident as a target attack and said those behind it will be brought to justice at all costs.

Responding to a question, he said that bullet proof vehicles are being procured for the Ministers to provide them maximum security.

Speaking on the occasion, IG Police Islamabad Kaleem Imam said that an investigative team headed by DIG Islamabad was constituted to probe the incident.

He said Islamabad police is on the alert to protect the lives and property of the people. He said due to this proactive policing, it had arrested forty six terrorists during the last three months and foiled several severe terrorist incidents.
