Hoarding,
profiteering not to be tolerated: Iftikhar

Peshawar—NWFP Information Minister, Mian
Iftikhar Hussain has warned that hoarding,
illegal profiteering and artificial price hike
would not be tolerated at any cost and such
elements would be brought to book sternly. This
warning he issued during his surprise visit to
various bazaars here on Monday. The
Provincial Minister, on this occasion, besides
checking the prices of essential commodities
especially checked prices of sugar and flour,
and inquired about its availability in the

Plan to set up
animal enclosure at Hayatabad

Peshawar—A plan proposed by NWFP Wildlife
department to set up an animal enclosure at
Hayatabad Township for providing recreational
facility to the entertainment starved people of
Peshawar was opposed and the file is shelved.
The project has been opposed by Peshawar
Development Authority (PDA) on the pretext that
some of the wild species including lion and
leopard may create problem by attacking and
injuring visitors, informed an official of NWFP

Quetta—Poaching of residential houbara
bustard in Balochistan continued this season
while relevant departments are avoiding taking
action against influential poachers. Sources in
the Wildlife Department on condition of
anonymity told APP on Monday that influential
poachers who are foreigners as well as locals
have continued hunting residential houbara
bustard in Balochistan which is found in valley
of Nag Rakhshan district Washak. They maintained
that in Pakistan, houbara bustard is divided in

Black water in Pak
threat to country: PTI Staff Reporter
Peshawar—Expressing apprehension over presence
of Black Water and Marines in the country,
Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) termed it a big
conspiracy against the integrity of Pakistan.
“The presence of Black Water and Marines in
Pakistan is a severe threat to the sovereignty,
independence and integrity of the country,” said
a provincial president of PTI Asad Qaiser while
a news conference here on Monday. He predicted
that the situation of the country would be worst
in near future, if US interference, presence of
blackwater and marines stayed more in the
country and the rulers would be accountable
before the masses for it. |

Flyover Bridge on
Akramwah Hala Naka under consideration
Hyderabad—Additional Chief Secretary
Development Nazar Hussain Mahar has directed the
authority concerned to prepare a scheme of
Flyover Bridge on Akramwah Hala Naka to
facilitate intersection vehicular traffic and
commuters from different sides. He issued such
