10,000 cases of
defunct IHC await hearing
Islamabad—More than ten thousand cases which
were transferred from the defunct Islamabad High
Court to Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench
after a Supreme Court’s July 31 decision, have

Islamabad—Despite augmented security and
check posts at every main highway, the crime
rate in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad
has been increasing with each passing day.
Surprisingly, snatching of handbags from women,
cell phones and motorbikes has increased in the
streets of Islamabad, which is considered one of
the safest cities of Pakistan. Criminals have
focused on the city areas and are aware that it
is unlikely that complaints will be registered
about their crimes. |
