Shura Hamdard urges lowering non-dev expenses

Karachi—The feudal culture, based on extravagancy, must be rooted out from our society and savings at all levels be encouraged. Government should reduce 17 per cent of its non-development expenditure, curb the rampant corruption, establish a viable system of merit and accountability and cut short the difference between the rich and the poor to stop impending civil war. This was unanimous decision of the Shura Hamdard Karachi chapter meeting held the other day.
