Islamabad—The Federal Government has made
elaborate arrangements for the dignified and
secure early return of Internally Displaced
Persons (IDPs) to their homes and they would be
provided all help in this regard. The Minister
for Information and Broadcasting, Qamar Zaman
Kaira said this here on Monday while presiding
over a briefing session held here to sensitize
ectors and Anchor-persons of leading TV channels
on the phased-wise return of IDPs.

Frontier Regions (SAFRON), Najmuddin Khan has
said that the government is committed for the
welfare of the masses. Many uplift projects have
been launched in different areas of Frontier and
States to bring prosperity in the area.
Islamabad—Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice
Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, as a part of
national efforts to rehabilitate the IDPs has
handed over cheques amounting to Rs 3.5 million
to President Maita Bar Association to help the
displaced lawyers.

Interchange is facing delay due to ban imposed
by Islamabad Capital Administration on entry of
dumper carrying construction material during day
time in Islamabad and it is expected that the
Project would not be completed before six month
of stipulated time.
Islamabad—Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi
informed the National Assembly Standing
Committee on Foreign Affairs on Monday that a
mechanism was being evolved to prevent entry of
illegal migrants from Nigeria on fake visas. The
meeting of the Standing Committee on Foreign
Affairs was held under the Chairmanship of
Asfandyar Wali at the Parliament House.
