Islamabad—The Federal Government has made elaborate arrangements for the dignified and secure early return of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) to their homes and they would be provided all help in this regard. The Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Qamar Zaman Kaira said this here on Monday while presiding over a briefing session held here to sensitize ectors and Anchor-persons of leading TV channels on the phased-wise return of IDPs.

CJP hands over Rs. 3.5m cheques for displaced lawyers

Mechanism being evolved to prevent entry of illegal migrants from Nigeria

Islamabad—Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi informed the National Assembly Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs on Monday that a mechanism was being evolved to prevent entry of illegal migrants from Nigeria on fake visas. The meeting of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs was held under the Chairmanship of Asfandyar Wali at the Parliament House.
