Rawalpindi—Three personnel of the security forces embraced Shahadat and six were injured in Malakand while some terrorists were apprehended during the last 24 hours.

An update by the ISPR released here Sunday afternoon said in Swat, security forces raided the house of a terrorist in Mohalla Nehrabad, Kuza Banda and recovered a Suzuki Pick Up, one Small Machine Gun including 2 magazines, one Pistol and 175 rounds of miscellaneous caliber.

Washington—US Vice President Joe Biden seemed to give Israel a green light for military action to eliminate Iran’s nuclear assets, saying the US “cannot dictate to another sovereign nation what they can and cannot do.” “Israel can determine for itself it’s a sovereign nation what’s in their interest and what they decide to do relative to Iran and anyone else,” Biden told ABC’s “This Week” in an interview broadcast Sunday.

SINCE the eruption of Afghanistan-fall-out tempered ‘insurgency’ in South Waziristan and Malakand division, the minds of the people of Pakistan, within and without, have started thinking on a most relevant point: why the MPs elected from the insurgency-affected parliamentary constituencies are not going to stay put there to dissuade the brain-washed minds? After all the electors are their (MPs) own tribespersons; the centuries old mutuality of minds, customs, habits, pattern of thinking and social norms – all are common among the electors of affected constituencies and the elect.
