Criminals gang busted

Lahore—On the directive of Capital City Police Officer (CCPO), Muhammad Pervez Rathore, Organized Crime CIA Model Town has arrested four members of Ghulam Sarwar Alias Saru gang, including its ringleader, involved in multiple acts of dacoity, fraud and other heinous crimes in the city and has recovered rupees two lakh, twenty-one thousand and nine hundred in cash (Rs. 2,21,900), one motorcycle, 15 cell phones, one bicycle and illegal weapons from their possession. During preliminary investigation, the culprits have revealed committing various acts of dacoity and other crimes from different parts of the city.

Sugar mills booked for non-payments to growers

Lahore—District Co-ordination Officers of Faisalabad, Sargodha and Nankana on the special direction of the Chief Secretary Punjab got registered cases against the management of five sugar mills for non payment of dues to sugarcane growers despite several warnings.
