Finance has assured that the government is fully
aware that due to military action against the
terrorists and IDPs problem the business and
economic activities in the province are being
affected and need government support.
Islamabad—Federal Minister for Commerce Makhdoom
Amin Fahim on Thursday assured the members of
Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI)
that their input regarding trade policy would be
accommodated, which is expected to be announced
in the third week of July.

would organize a three-day long workshop here
from July 6 (Monday) to highlight the role of
media in agriculture development and devise
strategies for exposing farmers to modern
information and techniques for better
agriculture output. The workshop titled “Role of
Media for Accelerating Agri- growth in SAARC
Countries,” is being held in collaboration with
National Animal and Plant Health Inspection
Service (NAPHIS).

encouraging low income entrepreneurs. Speaking

said that the FMFB endeavoring to reach out to
the deprived low income entrepreneurs who were
unable to receive adequate financial services
through out the country in the rural as well as
urban areas.
