Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Hospital. Rashid Al-Hajri,
Chairman of Municipal Affairs, Qamar Zaman,
Minister of Health AJK, UAE Ambassador Ali Saif
Sultan Al-Awani and Chairman ERRA Altaf Saleem
were present on the inaugural ceremony. The
other members of UAE delegation Khalfan Sultan
Al-Kitbi, the Undersecretary, Presidential
Affairs, Nasir Khalifa Al-Badoor, Secretary of
Health Ministry, Ali Ubaid Al-Ali, Additional
Secretary, Health Authority and Engineer
Abdullah Saeed Al-Shamsi, Head of Operations and
Maintenance, Abu Dhabi Municipality also graced
the occasion, says a press release issued by UAE
Embassy.
Peshawar— NWFP Chief Minister, Amir Haider Hoti
Monday said that return of Internally Displaced
Persons (IDPs) from Malakand division will start
very soon and repatriation will be in phased
manner.Addressing a ceremony held here at
Frontier House on Monday in connection with
distribution of cheques of Rs. 30,000 each among
227 displaced journalists of Malakand division,
the Chief Minister said government is
concentrating on strengthening of infrastructure
before return of IDPs.
Hyderabad— The District Government Hyderabad is
fully committed to improve the health facilities
by providing state of the art facilities at
government hospitals. The District Government
has allocated Rs. 1059.266 million for health
sector in the Annual Budget 2009-2010, which is
1.49 percent more as compared with the annual
budget 2008-2009, the District Nazim Kanwar
Naveed Jamil informed APP on Monday. He said
idea is to provide maximum health facilities to
the people in district, that mainly comprises of
poor and middle class.
Muzaffarabad—Azad Jammu & Kashmir Legislative
Assembly, on Monday unanimously approved
tax-free budget amounting to over Rs.35.406
billion for the next fiscal year.
Faisalabad— AWAM organized a consultation
meeting with different NGOs of Faisalabad City
titled “Community Education for Women Rights” at
AWAM Office Faisalabad. Twenty two
representatives of different NGOs namely WORD,
ASDP, SAP, EDEN, PCWO, DAWN, Maimar, Muthida
Welfare Society and Light of Hope actively
participated in the consultation.
