Pak share of WC 2011 matches to be distributed among co-hosts

London—The International Cricket Council has decided to re-distribute Pakistan’s share of 14 World Cup 2011 matches among the three co-hosts India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh after the ICC Board at its meeting Thursday adhered to its earlier decision that the South Asian country will not stage matches due to security concerns.

LUMS crush Young Rising Star


Lahore—Striker Eilya Mohsin struck five times including a hat trick as LUMS Club made impressive debut with a one-sided 7-0 win over Layyah’s Young rising Star in the second National Women Football Club Championship on Friday at Punjab university old campus ground. It was first ever match for both the clubs in PFF event and large audience watched the group-C clash.Other teams in the Group are Sports Sciences Department of Punjab University and Fatima Club.
