Rawalpindi—The Division Bench of the Lahore High
Court (Rawalpindi bench) acquitted the PML Quaid
and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the
helicopter reference here on Friday. The
Division Bench comprising Mr. Justice Tariq
Shamim and Mr. Justice Saeed Ijaz - the Judges
of the LHC Rawalpindi Bench set aside the
sentence awarded by the National Accountability
Bureau in 2000.

has directed the IRSA to ensure distribution of
water among the provinces according to 1991
water accord carried out by farmer Prime

Karachi—At least two persons were killed and 25
