Peshawar/Rawalpindi—As the security forces were
tightening the noose around the insurgents in
Charbagh area, more than 21 miscreants were
gunned down. However, the forces were facing
stiff resistance from the militants in Charbagh
as well as Shangla district where pitched
battles have resulted in the martyrdom of three
men in uniform. 6 soldiers were injured.
Islamabad—Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr Justice
Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry on Tuesday observed
that petitions about National Reconciliation
Ordinance (NRO) were pending before the apex
court and until these were disposed of no relief
could be given by SC to any person under the NRO.
