Islamabad—Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani on Thursday visited Swat and met with field commanders and troops participating in ongoing operations. He appreciated high morale of the troops. He also saw at first hand certain operations being carried out against the militants. He was given detailed briefing on the progress of operations by General Officer Commanding.
