Chakwal—At least 24 people were killed and 60
others injured in a suicide attack at the gate
of an Imambargah here 100 km from the Federal
capital on Sunday, police said.

Islamabad—Next fiscal year will be toughest for
Pakistan since its emergence as the horrifying
monster of debt servicing will eat up Rs 750
billion, 42 percent of projected revenue of FBR,
a senior official at Ministry of Finance told
that Pakistan’s external debt would alarmingly
swell to $ 51.5 billion by the end of ongoing
fiscal 2008-09 with growth in debt of 16 percent
if compared with foreign debt of $46.5 billion
in last fiscal. And next year Pakistan will have
to spend huge amount of Rs 750 billion just on
debt servicing.
