No information about movement of Indian army at border, says ISPR

Rawalpindi—Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) and Spokesman Pakistan army Maj. Gen. Athar Abbas has made it clear that army has found no solid evidence of unusual military movement by India at international border.

While talking to newsmen on Sunday, he said that Pakistan Army is ready for national defense and to tackle any untoward situation at western border.

Abbas said that Army is closely monitoring the Indian military movements at international border and no unusual activity was witnessed so far. He advised nation not to worry over India’s reported ambitions.

“Our intelligence sources have also said that no such directive was issued by Indian government to boost Indian troops at Pak-India border”, he said.

On the other hand, Indian External ministry while strongly rejecting the news aired by some TV Channels of India said neither India is mulling to suspend ceasefire agreement with Pakistan nor directives with regard to movement of Indian army at Pak-India border has been issued.

Earlier, some Indian TV Channels said that Indian Government has issued orders to boost up troops at border with Pakistan, besides mulling to suspend ceasefire agreement with Pakistan.—Online
