Telenor Pakistan wins award in SAARC conference

Islamabad—Telenor Pakistan, for the second time in a row has won the
award for the “Mobile Operator with the Most Consumer Pull” at the
7th SAARC CEO Conclave held in Hyderabad, India. Telenor Pakistan
has been chosen for this award by Voice& Data which is the leading
magazine in SAARC that traces the business, technology and
regulatory aspect of telecom and networking. “This award is a result
of our team’s focused effort towards ensuring customer satisfaction.
It has only been possible because of the outstanding performance by
Telenor Pakistan’s employees who have displayed a thorough
understanding of our customers’ needs. Becoming the most preferred
mobile operator is a result of our commitment towards providing the
best to our customers, always. It is indeed a moment of pride to
receive the award for the second time in a row.” said Executive Vice
President, Telenor Pakistan, Irfan Wahab Khan.

trust in Telenor Pakistan.” he added. Telenor Pakistan had won the
awards for “Most Innovative Mobile Operator” and “Mobile Operator
with the Most Consumer Pull” at the 6th SAARC Conference 2007 held
in Nepal. Just recently, Telenor Pakistan won the Buzziest Brand of
the Year award while Talkshawk is voted Best Positive Buzz Brand of
the Year and the Longest Buzz Brand of the Year in a survey carried
our by Revelation Inc., an independent media and advertising
concern. The winners for this conclave have been selected through an
online poll organized by V&D and JuxtConsult, an online research
agency.
The service providers were rated on the basis of consumer
satisfaction. Rating criteria included analysis such as which
operator has the most consumer friendly value added services and
comes up with the most creative marketing and advertising ideas. The
CEO Conclave 2008 endeavors to get more than hundred key regulators,
operators, vendors, and VAS and content players in the SAARC region
to discuss and brainstorm on what they must do, and how, to ensure
that the next growth phase of telecom is equally successful. |
