Islamabad—The next
US-Pak strategic dialogue would start next month
and would focus on energy, food and terrorism.
The US would reimburse $ 370 million in the next
few weeks. Total reimbursement is $ 1.5 billion.
The next investment conference would be held
next fall in Washington. The US would opt for
local purchase of food and send to Balochistan.
US is playing a proactive role and has no
favorite. US wants to maintain very close
contacts with PPP, PML, ANP, MQM and all
important people. President Musharraf has a role
to play.
