Lahore based circle conspiring against me, says Musharraf

Islamabad—President Pervez Musharraf has strongly refuted that he was resigning or leaving the Country.

Talking in a dinner party hosted by senator Nisar. A. Memon, the President accused a “specific, Lahore based political circle” of trying to incite masses against him.

He said that running the state business was the duty of politicians, while he was functioning as the elected constitutional President of the Country, who desired the incumbents to complete their legal constitutional tenure, granted to them by masses.—Online
