NH&MP recover 18 trucks loaded with wheat, flour

Islamabad—National Highways & Motorway Police have foiled different attempts of smuggling wheat and flour through motorways and recovered 18 trucks loaded with 4133 Flour and wheat bags, which were being transported illegally from Punjab to NWFP.
As per detail, during routine patrolling near Sukheki on Motorway, Motorway Police officers stopped 09 trucks for lane violation. On checking, it was observed that these trucks were carrying wheat and flour, which was being smuggled to Peshawar. Motorway Police arrested all the culprits and took the trucks into its custody.
In another incident, Motorway Police stopped 07 trucks for different traffic violations on Motorway near Sukheki. The numbers of trucks were P-3109, C-1445, TKP-724, P-9098, TKL-070, C-2580 and C-8081.
