Efforts to provide relief to common man: Khosa

Lahore— Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Dost Muhammad Khosa has said that Punjab government will not be deterred from its agenda of public service by the circumstances and all out efforts would be made for providing relief to the common man.
He was addressing a gathering of people at Circuit House DG Khan on Friday where people also brought their individual and collective problems to the notice of the Chief Minister, says a handout issued here.
Sardar Dost Muhammad Khosa issued on the spot orders for redressal of people’s grievances. The Chief Minster mixed up with the people disregarding the protocol and the gathering changed into an open kutchary where he gave a patient hearing to the people’s problems for several hours.
The Chief Minister said that the government believes in serving the masses and was trying to resolve the problems especially of the lower strata of the society on priority basis.
He said that PML-N faced difficult circumstances steadfastly in the past and is infused with the spirit of public service.
He said that he was fully aware of the problems of the people of southern Punjab and would ensure that the fruits of progress also reach these areas. He said that education, health and water supply projects would be given top priority. —APP
