government was eager to develop a good working
mechanism and better teamwork besides working
out better channels with all the districts so as
to facilitate people and to monitor misuse of
the public exchequer.

will not be deterred from its agenda of public
service by the circumstances and all out efforts
would be made for providing relief to the common
man.
Sukkur— Provincial Minister for Law and
Parliamentary Affairs, Muhammad Ayaz Soomro, has
said the coalition government remains committed
to resolve the problems of the masses and is
mapping out measures to avoid levying new taxes
in the next budget.“Instead, the policy of
broadening the tax net will be adopted,” he
added.
Multan— Multan Institute of Nuclear Medicine and
Radiotherapy (Minar) is offering free medical
treatment to those poor patients of cancer who
are recipients of Zakat. Dr Durre Sabih,
director of the institute said on Friday. “At
the moment, the institute maintains a balance of
Rs 500,000 in Zakat Fund which will be utilised
for provision of free medicines to cancer
patients”, he said, adding,that Minar’s annual
grant from Zakat Fund is around Rs 3 million.

Sukkur, Inamullah Khan Dharejo has directed the
Officers of National Programme for Improvement
of Watercourses (NPIW) to ensure completion of
the target fixed for lining of watercourses in
the district by reactivating the field teams.
