Zardari: Chances of survival of coalition govts not strong

London—PPP Co-Chairperson Asif Ali Zardari has said that he can’t take unconstitutional step to correct the wrong doings of the past.
Talking with a foreign television network here Sunday, he said we should compromise with the situation, adopt the course of reconciliation and respect the opinion of others.
Asif Zardari said the chances of survival of coalition governments are not strong, but ruled out early elections.
He expressed the hope that relations between the coalition partners will be on right track.
PPP Co-Chairperson said there is complete unanimity among the coalition partners on the restoration of deposed judges, but there are differences on modalities He said, “There happens to be an element of weakness in the coalition government, but no one wants elections soon and hoped that the allied parties’ ties would remain alright.”—NNI
