Chief Minister meets Indian yatrees
Karachi—Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah
Sunday met with 25 pilgrims (Yatrees) from India and 20 leaders of
Hindu community from different cities of Sindh, who called on him at
CM House here.
Talking to the delegation, he said the Constitution of 1973 clearly
defines that all people living in Pakistan will get equal rights.
He said the minorities are given distinctive representation in the
Sindh government, which he said is apparent in the Sindh Cabinet.
He said the minorities in Sindh, particularly, the Hindu community
fully cooperated with Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and his daughter,
Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
Sindh Chief Minister said the present government will continue to
work without any discrimination to serve the people of Sindh.
He also warmly welcomed the Indian pilgrims and said the government
will endeavour to ensure that the pilgrims do not face any problem.
The head of the Indian pilgrims delegation, chief of “Shadhani
Darbar” priest Yaddi Shutar Lal thanked the Sindh CM for the
hospitality accorded in Pakistan, specially in Sindh.—APP
