Saleh to be honored for his 147 break: Valika

Dubai—Pakistan’s top-notch cueist Saleh Muhammad will be honoured appropriately for his historic record-shattering 147 break on the opening day of 24th Asian Snooker Championship, President of Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) Asghar Valika said on Tuesday.
“147-break is very elusive feat and we would honor Saleh. But before that our mission is to accomplish some thing in the championship,” he told APP Special Correspondent Ehsan Qureshi in an interview here.
“Its great honor for Pakistan that Saleh is the first player in 24-year history of Asian Snooker to achieve this feat,” he maintained. He said PBSA would be approaching Federal and Provincial Sports Ministry, Pakistan Sports Trust for announcing financial rewards for Saleh Muhammad for this extra-ordinary feat.—APP
