DW Radio to help IIU in broadcasting

Islamabad—The voice of Knowledge, radio FM-90.6 of the International Islamic University, (IIU) and the International service of Germany, Radio Deutsche Welle (DW) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation and facilitation in fields of broadcasting.
The agreement was signed by the head of Asia services at DW, Angelika Newel and In-charge FM-90.6, Nasir Farid, on behalf of their respective countries.
According to the agreement, the German radio DW will provide educational and informative radio programmes of IIU radio for rebroadcasting.
The DW will also provide training facilities to the professionals of IIU radio in various fields of broadcasting which would include production, management, digitalization and engineering.
The programmes presented by the Radio DW are suitable to the requirement of FM radio stations in Pakistan.
The Training opportunities would be available to IIU radio both in Pakistan and the DW Academy in Bonn, Germany.
The Radio Training Academy of Deutsche Welle is one of the leading broadcasting training centers in the world.—APP
