Nahyan receives Largest Foreign Investor of Pak Award

Islamabad—The UAE Minister for Higher Education and Scientific research Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, who is also Chairman of Abu Dhabi Group, has receive the Largest foreign investor of Pakistan award. This is the first ever award presented by the Pakistani private sector to an investment group.

SAARC Chamber chief urges greater intra-regional trade

Lahore—SAARC Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) president Tariq Sayeed has urged tangible business proposals to ensure maximum benefit from economic cooperation in South Asia He was addressing the inaugural session of seminar on ‘Quantification of Benefits from Regional Cooperation in South Asia’ organized by Foreign Trade Institute of Pakistan in collaboration with Asian Development Bank (ADB-UNCTAD) at a local hotel on Tuesday.

Ahmad Ali for promoting mechanized farming in country

Lahore—Punjab Minister for Agriculture Ahmad Ali Aulakh Tuesday stressed to promote mechanization farming for achieving breakthrough in the production of major crops in the province.
