Other players in 25-member team are: Jamil Ahmed, Jahangir Khan, Muhammad Mobeen, Muslim, Abdul Razzaq, Muhammad Ramzan, Shahnawaz, Bashir Ahmed, Muhammad Jan, Muhammad Farooq, Khalil Ahmed, Asif Ali, Shehzad Hussain, Muhammad Naveed, Ali Muhammad, Hashmat Ullah, Muhammad Habib, Noor Hussain, Atif, Kamran, Abul Hameed, Gul Muhammad and Jahangir Taj.

PPWD, which played in Pakistan Premiership 2005, will start their mission in Group-D when they will take on KESC at KMC Stadium on 7 May. Their next match will be against Pakistan Steel at Peoples Stadium on 9 May. PPWD played in the PFF league 2004, 2006 and 2007. They were on the edge of returning back into Pakistan Premiership 2008, but they lost the pace in final stages of PFF League 2007 and finished fifth behind PEL, Pak Steel, SSGC and PAF.“The football team of PPWD is in domestic scene since late sixties and over the years it worked as nursery, providing several players who are now showing guts in A-Division of Pakistan football. The objective of this organization are to execute the offices and residential accommodation for federal Government employee and to overcome the backlog of millions of square foot of office space and housing units being presently accommodated in hired office space and privately owned residences within budgetary provisions of Federal Government,” said Saleemi while explaining the function of PPWD.
