Peshawar—Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR),
Abdullah Yousaf has said that reforms process to
continue for making the tax submission process
more simple and for ensuring provision of
maximum facilities to the tax payers. This was
said by him while addressing a workshop of
Employees at Custom House Peshawar on Saturday
evening, said a press release issued here on
Sunday.

increased to 23.93 per cent during the week
ended on April 30 due to rising food and oil
prices over the corresponding period of last

has called upon the authorities concerned to
allow shipments of rice cargo below minimum
export price (MEP) for all contracts concluded
before April 30, 2008 with or without letter of
credits (LCs). President UNISAME Zulfikar Thaver
said many SMEs have in hand firm orders and have
signed contracts with their buyers. In fact the
contracts are under lien with bankers who have
financed them against it, he said.

action plan and appropriate recommendations for
