Islamabad—President Pervez Musharraf has stressed the need for more Japanese investments and imports from Pakistan to achieve balance in bilateral trade. Talking to Japanese Foreign Minister Masahiko Koumura, who called on him here on Saturday, the President expressed the hope that economic relations between the two countries will continue to grow.

MNS not to contest by-polls

Islamabad—PML-N spokesman Siddiq ul Farooq has said Mian Nawaz Sharif will not participate in the by polls adding he however, can contest the election any time.  PML-N spokesman said this while talking to media here Saturday. He held Mian Nawaz Sharif is party chief and he has achieved such a statute that he does not need to contest election.
