Restoration of judges
Nisar: PML (N) against constitutional package


Islamabad—PML (N) Parliamentary Party Leader, Ch. Nisar Ali Khan on Friday said that his party is not in favour of any constitutional package for restoration of judges of superior judiciary because it would complicate the issue.

While reiterating stance of his party about judges issue, he said, “We will not step back even an inch on the issue of deposed judges.”

Talking to media persons after meeting of PML (N) Parliamentary Party in the Parliament House, he said the entire nation is unanimous on restoration of superior judiciary.

He said PML (N) Leader, Mian Nawaz Sharif and Co- Chairperson, PPP, Asif Ali Zardari would meet in the Federal Capital next week to discuss ways and means for the restoration of senior judges.

Ch. Nisar, also Senior Federal Minister, informed that Mian Nawaz Shairf would also brief the party members about the issue.

Responding to a question, he proposed to constitute a commission to address issues of Dr. A.Q. Khan and missing persons for this purpose, the allied parties would be taken into confidence.

H said his party has also strongly reacted to the incidents of violence in Karachi and added, the loss of properties and burning the people alive are uncivilized acts.
