Commanders briefed on security environment

Rawalpindi—108th Corps Commanders’ Conference was held at General Headquarters here on Friday. Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani, chaired the meeting.

The participants were given a comprehensive briefing on the prevailing security environment.

The participants took a holistic view of the operational preparedness of the Army. They also reviewed the on going training activities.

The Chief of Army Staff appreciated the efforts of military commanders to focus on training and operational matters and demanded a cutting edge level of motivation and operational standards.
