21-member Sindh Cabinet takes oath

Karachi—The much awaited Sindh cabinet with 21 ministers was installed when the Governor Ishratul Ibad administered the oath taking ceremony at the governor house on Friday.

Informed sources disclosed to Pakistan Observer that in the second phase of the Sindh cabinet probably next week would be inducting 7 minister from MQM for which the negotiations were being given final touches.

The Cabinet, which was installed in the presence of Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali shah also four women ministers. The ministers who took oath are Pir Mazhar-ul- Haq, Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza, Ali Nawaz Shah, Manzoor Hussain Wassan, Ayaz Soomro, Murad Ali Shah, Nadir Magsi, Agha Siraj Durrani, Jam Saifullah Dharejo, Sajid Jokhio, Akhtar Jadoon, Jam Mehtab, Amir Nawab, Abdul Haq Bhurt, Mukesh Kumar, Sassui Palejo, Shazia Mari, Nargis N.D. Khan, Tauqir Fatima, Abdul Jalil Memon and Dayaram.

Prime Minister’s Advisor for Home Affairs Rehman Malik, Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, MNAs, MPAs, representatives of Armed Forces, Home Secretary Arif Ahmed Khan, IGP Azhar Ali Farooqui, CCPO Niaz Ahmed Siddiqi, high government officials, senior PPP leaders were present on the occasion..

Later Syed Qaim Ali Shah, led the cabinet to the Mazar of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah where they paid homage to the father of the nation.
