Filter plant at KPT hospital
Karachi—Chairman KPT Vice Admiral Ahmad Hayat on Thursday
inaugurated a water filtration plant at KPT Hospital located in the
vicinity of Keamari to provide clean water facility to patients of
KPT hospital.
The cost of the water filtration plant is Rs 0.513 million with a
capacity of 500 gallons per hours.
Begum Chairman, Mrs Maherukh Hayat inaugurated Pediatrics Department
of the hospital with state of art facilities for neonates which
include, ventilator, portable X-ray machine, Incubators, baby
warmer, resuscitation equipment, isolation room and photography unit
for treatment of jaundice patients.
It has capacity to handle ten neonates. The neonatal intensive care
unit (NICU) has a central oxygen system.—APP
