Women urged to play role in
eradication of terrorism

Rawalpindi—National Seerat Women Conference adopted the resolution
urging women to make efforts for the eradication of terrorism and
sectarianism besides prosperity of the country. The conference urged
the women to impart training to their children that suicide attacks
are against the spirit of Islam. It also underscore the need of
spreading the massage of Islam globally as a religion of peace.
National Seerat Conference for women was held under the patronage of
Markazi Imam Hussain Council here on Tuesday. MNA from Pakistan
Peoples Party Dr Firdus Ashiq Awan was the chief guest while
Chairperson of Markazi Imam Hussain Council Rubab Mehdi presided
over the session.
On the occasion, Member of Parliament from ruling party Dr Firdus
Ashiq Awan said that today the Muslims all over the world are facing
the confrontation of the west due to weakness of their rulers. If
the head of Muslim states would raise the voice against the
discrimination of West towards Islam, the entire Ummah would stand
with them.
She said that Islam is the religion of peace and tolerance and it
was not expanded on through sword but it was the remarkable and
unprecedented character of the Muslims which they got from the life
of Hazrat Muhammad (SAW), the last Prophet of God.
