Islamabad—As many as 435 patients, suffering from back pain, were treated in free pain management camp held on the sidelines of two day Pain Symposium and Workshop at Railway General Hospital Rawalpindi.

Around 60 participants from all over Pakistan and abroad attended the symposium to know the latest techniques about pain management.

Fifteen senior consultants of pain management, under the supervision of Brig. M. Salim, Pain Management Specialist, practically demonstrated various techniques about how to manage the pain.

Speaking as the chief guest at the conclusion of the workshop, Vice Chancellor Riphah University, Professor Dr. Anees Ahmed appreciated the efforts of Brig. (R) M. Salim for the pain management and called him “Baba-e-Pain Management.”
