In response to the request of the SMEDA, the UNISAME proposed to the Ministry of Finance to prepare a budget based on giving much needed relief to the common man.

President UNISAME, Zulfikar Thaver is of the view that common man is burdened with high cost of utilities, taxes, duties and major portion of his income goes in meeting these claims and nothing remains to overcome other social obligations. He stated medical care, law and order, education, supply of pure drinking water and infrastructure were the responsibilities of the state and the state is duty bound to provide these necessities to the citizens.
