Quetta—Governor of Balochistan Zulfiqar Ali Magsi said that negotiations, led by Nawab Aslam Raeesani, are being held with the armed persons in Balochistan and the issue of law and order would be resolved after the formation of the new government. Shahbaz forms working groups in Punjab

Lahore—Punjab Chief Minister-designate Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has constituted a number of working groups to look into various aspects of the functioning of the Punjab government while one such group headed by Punjab Assembly Speaker designate, Rana Iqbal Ahmad Khan MPA and convenor, Shafqat Mehmood (former senator), is busy reviewing the Annual Development Programme of the province.

15 Taliban killed, top commander held

Kabul—Afghan and NATO forces killed 15 Taliban insurgents in separate raids in southern Afghanistan, where police also captured a senior Taliban commander, officials said Sunday.
