Several terrorists die in Khyber Agency air strikes

The PAF war planes on Friday bombed the militants positions in Khyber Agency mowing down more than a dozen miscreants following a failed terror bid on an FC training centre by militants from Afghanistan in Shabqadar that left two suicide bombers dead and a soldier martyred early morning . Many terrorists were killed by the forces retaliatory fire.
In an early morning attack a group of terrorists from Afghanistan ambushed an FC security post in the Khyber agency in which two soldiers were martyred. The effective response from the alert security personnel also killed many attackers.
“Pakistan Army effectively responded to the aggression and killed six terrorists in retaliatory fire”. The ISPR communiqué said.
Independent reports said at least six attackers were killed in the retaliatory fire and many others injured before they could flee from the scene. Locals said the ambush was carried out in wee hours on Friday.
Reports say that a couple of suicide bombers attacked the FC training centre in Shabqadar, Charsadda district, and stormed the building but were effectively checked by the valiant jawaans who killed them before they could play havoc in the centre.
“One FC soldier embraced martyrdom while another was injured when suicide bombers stormed training centre at around 6 am and the FC soldiers, in retaliatory fire, killed two suicide bombers, foiling the suicide bombing bid. The injured FC soldier was taken to THQ Hospital Shabqadar.
Speaking to the media, Commandant FC Liaqat Ali said the terrorists attacked early in the morning. “Within no time the Army and Frontier Corp arrived to help. Everyone is united in this war and helping each other out.”
One of the attacker was killed by the soldiers guarding the main gate while other blew himself up.
After the attack, the PAF war birds heavily pounded the miscreants positions in Khyber agency in the afternoon leaving several trouble makers dead and wounded and destroyed their hideouts
Several terrorists have been killed in air strikes launched by the military in Rajgal valley, about 90 km west of Peshawar.
According to ISPR, the action was taken on a tip-off regarding presence of Lashker-e-Islam chief Mangal Bagh. Independent sources said over a dozen alleged terrorists were killed in the blitz.
The funeral prayer of the two martyrs of the Khyber Agency attack was offered at Corps Headquarters Peshawar on Friday. Naib Subedar Saeed Khan and Lance naik Jehan Zeb were killed in cross border attack by militants on a check post in Khyber Agency.
The funeral prayer was attended by Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, IG FC and other civil and military officials.
Earlier, the funeral prayer of the Frontier constabulary soldier was attended by top military and civil officials.
